Search for New TT Police Chief Narrows to 3
A decision is expected by "early summer."

The search for a new Tredyffrin Police Chief has been narrowed to three finalists, according to the Chairwoman of the Township Board of Supervisors.
Michelle Kichline tells Patch that is one of three finalists who will be part of a second round of interviews for the job. Kichline says the other two candidates, who she did not identify, are from outside the department.
The job opened up after the who left at the end of 2011. Chambers decided to retire from the department after . The teen damaged the vehicle in the incident which was not immediately reported to supervisors.

Kichline says the board's personnel committee has conducted the first round of interviews and narrowed the field down to three candidates who will now go through a second round of interviews. After that round the full board will interview the finalist(s) before voting in executive session.
Kichline says she expects the process to be completed and a new superintendent to be named by "early summer."
