The Main Line's Upper (Pizza) Crust

Bravo Pizza in Berwyn is being honored by Philadelphia Magazine for it's pizza crust. The magazine picked 50 pizzas in best sauce, best toppings, best dine-in, best by the slice and best crust categories.

Bravo owner Steve Cappelli says he is honored, but surprised because the magazine sent an "undercover" pizza eater and he never even knew his shop was in the running for the honor.  Capelli says cheese pizza is the most popular by about a 5 to 1 ratio.  The thin crust which was recognized by the magazine is neopolitan style, but Bravo also serves up a wide variety of deep dish pies.
