Timothy School In Berwyn Receives $750,000 Building Grant

The school provides services for 65 students with intellectual disabilities.

BERWYN, PA —The Timothy School, a private school for students with autism, was awarded a $750,000 state grant for capital improvements to the school at 930 Old Lancaster Road, Berwyn.

“This state funding will allow the school to move forward with construction plans to expand the school and serve more students and families,” State Rep. Melissa Shusterman, a Chester County Democrat, said Monday.
The school has 65 students from 26 school districts in southeastern Pennsylvania.

The building project includes the addition of classroom and administrative office space, as well as assisting in the selective demolition and construction at the existing main education building.
