Tredyffrin Township Announce Police Promotions
The superintendent of Tredyffrin Township police plans to announce police promotions at a public meeting Tuesday in the township building.

TREDYFFRIN TWP —Tredyffrin Township Police Superintendent T. Michael Beaty is set to announce the promotions of six police officers during the township supervisors' meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 in the township building, 1100 DuPortail Road.
The meeting is also available on the district’s YouTube channel TTTV YouTube.
- Cpl. Kreg Isleib is promoted to the rank of sergeant. Sgt. Isleib is a 24-year veteran of the department and a graduate of West Chester University.

Sgt. Isleib will lead the Traffic Safety Division, where he has served for the past ten years.
The unit investigates unsafe conditions on public roadways and coordinates speed enforcement programs.
- Officer Josh Smethers is promoted to the rank of Corporal. Cpl. Smethers is an eight-year veteran of the department and a graduate of Juniata College. He is assigned to a patrol squad as a supervisor. The patrol division officers are in uniform and provide traditional police services.
Superintendent Beaty will also recognize Sgt. Stephanie Bills, Cpl. Russell Hittle, Cpl. Eric Meoli, and Cpl.William Czaplicki since their promotions occurred during a period when the Supervisor’s meetings were virtual due to COVID-19.
