UMLY To Trade Gym Clothes For Formal Wear
Supporters of the The Upper Main Line YMCA are trading workout gear for formal wear Friday Night.
The Upper Main Line YMCA is hosting a gala fundraiser this Friday, October 12th at Aronimink Golf Club from 6 PM- 11 PM to honor five exemplary community advocates who have supported the Y and surrounding community over the last five decades.
The event is sold out with over 300 people expected ito attend. Ticket sales, commemorative ad book sponsors, and proceeds from both silent and live auctions are targeted to exceed the initial $200,000 goal.
The money goes to the Y's Scholarship fund which helps people with financial needs pay for memberships and services at Upper Main Line YMCA facilities.
