• Investigators search for cause of fire that damaged Wyoming County home (wnep.com) — A house along Avery Station Road in Lemon Township, near Tunkhannock, was heavily damaged by a Sunday night fire, but the resident and her cat are both safe. Firefighters battled the blaze in frigid conditions, relying on tanker trucks instead of setting up an additional water supply. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the fire.
