• Police and magistrate reports 12/10/25 (wcexaminer.com) — Several recent police and magistrate cases involve Tunkhannock residents and state police based in town, including DUI and multiple harassment citations from November and early December. These cases, all still pending, span incidents in Washington, Nicholson, Meshoppen, and nearby townships, giving locals a snapshot of current legal activity affecting their neighbors.
   

• Trail tops Tunkhannock in defensive battle (wcexaminer.com) — Tunkhannock boys’ basketball fell 38–27 on the road at Lackawanna Trail, struggling to score in three of four quarters against a tight zone defense. Despite three three-pointers from Luke Chilson and a late rally, the Tigers couldn’t overcome a decisive 12–2 third quarter run that put the game out of reach.
