Aqua Names Montgomery County Native As New VP Of Engineering
Brian Gresehover, a native of Dresher, Pa., has been appointed vice president of engineering for Aqua subsidiary Essential Utilities.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A suburban Philadelphia native is now the vice president of engineering for one of the region's largest water companies.
Brian Gresehover, a native of Dresher, Pa., was recently promoted to the position of VP of engineering for Aqua, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role.
Gresehover previously served as a project engineer for Aqua, overseeing a $150 million annual capital budget focused on planning, management, design and renewal of the water distribution system, according to a news release about the promotion.

In his new position, Gresehover will be in charge of providing centralized support in areas such as hydraulic modeling, geographic information system, asset management, automation and process optimization, as well as large project management for Aqua's engineering department, according to the news release from Essential Utilities, Inc.
Aqua is a subsidiary of Essential Utilities.

Greesehover has more than 17 years of engineering design, condition assessment and planning experience under his belt, having served various water and wastewater utilities across the continent, according to his professional bio.
"Under Brian's strong leadership and expertise, Aqua has consistently replaced 100+ miles of water main annually," Aqua President Colleen Arnold said in a statement. "As the company has grown, we have identified a need to have a dedicated leader whose sole responsibility is engineering and we're thrilled to have Brian at the helm."
Gresehover is a licensed professional engineer in both Pennsylvania and Maryland, and he has degrees in mechanical engineering and environmental engineering, according to his professional bio.
He is also an active member of the American Water Works Association and has won awards for his work over the years.
According to his LinkedIn page, Gresehover served the Chesapeake Section of the American Water Works Association for 11 years before he relocated to Pennsylvania from Maryland.
Aqua, a subsidiary of Essential Utilities, provides water and wastewater service to more than 3 million people in eight states throughout the U.S.
Essential Utilities is one of the largest publicly traded water, wastewater and natural gas providers in the country.
