Everybody’s Theater Company Is Back & Live This Fall!

ETC presents One Night Only and Kentucky Lemonade

Everybody’s Theater Company (ETC) is excited to collaborate with Friends of the Upper Dublin Public Library on a One Night Only fundraiser. One Night Only: An Evening of Broadway Songs is on Saturday, October 29 from 7-8:30pm at the Upper Dublin Library’s Shanis Auditorium. The cabaret will showcase eighteen local favorites performing songs from Wicked, Little Shop of Horrors, The Lion King, Waitress, Anastasia, Funny Girl, and many others. All proceeds from One Night Only will benefit ETC and the Friends of the UDPL organizations. Tickets are $35 or $60 a pair and available through the Friends of UDPL at One Night Only: An Evening of Broadway Songs.

In November, Everybody’s Theater Company will present Kentucky Lemonade, a new play written by Julie Zaffarano and directed by Upper Dublin theater artist and educator Debbie Thompson. The death of the family patriarch brings together two sisters, their mother, and their aunt. As the women deal with grief, funeral arrangements, and moving boxes, a long-buried secret is unearthed. Funerals often bring out the best and worst in people, both in what is said and what is not-this story is no exception. Kentucky Lemonade was an O'Neill National Playwrights Conference finalist.

ETC's talented cast includes Chris Fry, Judy Thalheimer, Georgette Hamaty, and Susan Broom. Kentucky Lemonade will have four performances: November 3 & 4 at 7:30pm and November 5 at 2:00pm and 7:30pm at the Ambler Theater Annex: 106 E Butler Avenue. Tickets are $20, and are now on sale at everybodystheatercompany.org. There will be a talk-back with the playwright and cast immediately following the 2:00pm performance on Saturday, November 5.
