Fort Washington Fire Co. Has Been Featured In A National Fire Engineering Publication

UPPER DUBLIN, PA — A local fire company is getting some national recognition.

The Fort Washington Fire Co., a volunteer organization located in Upper Dublin Township, is being featured in Fire Engineering Magazine, a national publication that reports on all manner of firefighting issues.

The department is featured in the Volunteers Corner section of the December 2021 issue of the magazine.

Fort Washington Fire Co. Chiefs Andrew Rathfon and Zach Velivis co-authored an article titled "A Solution To Volunteer Recruitment And Retention: Training," which highlights training initiatives at the department relating to recruitment and retention of members, according to a Facebook post announcing the news.
