UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, PA —A small garage fire was knocked down quickly Sunday morning before it could spread to the home, fire officials said.

The Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1 responded just after 8 a.m. Sunday for a reported garage on fire in the 700 block of Prospect Avenue.

Police arrived with an active fire in the garage and Engine 88 dropped a supply line, with Engine 88-1 taking the hydrant.

Battalion 88-1 had command and reported the fire quickly knocked down, fire officials said.

The fire was placed under control and the assignment was scaled back.
