Lane Closures Start Monday For Route 309 Repairs

PennDOT said the work in Upper Dublin Township is to make repairs after highways were damaged by Hurricane Ida in September 2021.

UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, PA —Lane closures are expected starting Monday as PennDOT makes repairs to state highways damaged by Hurricane Ida in September 2021, PennDOT has announced.

The roadwork includes:

  • Monday, Feb. 20, through Friday, Feb. 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on Route 309 (Fort Washington Expressway) between the Highland Avenue and the Susquehanna Road interchanges in Upper Dublin Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
