FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — Holiday cheer comes in all different shapes and sizes. For five local non-profit organizations, it came in tote bags filled with children’s hats, gloves, and sweatshirts delivered by TruMark Financial® Credit Union employees. The organizations provide services to families facing hardships who may need services such as healthcare, food, clothing, and shelter. To families weathering tough times, a new hat, gloves, and sweatshirt not only represents warm clothing but it demonstrates people care. Each month the credit union partners with non-profit organizations and offers support as a component of its Concern for Community initiative.

In December, the following organizations received an assortment of hats, gloves, and sweatshirts:

  • APM Neighborhood Community, Philadelphia
  • Emilie United Methodist Church Safe Sanctuaries, Bucks County
  • Maternal and Child Health Consortium, Chester County
  • Mitzvah Circle, Montgomery County
  • Our Closet, Delaware County

"We are honored to partner with TruMark Financial in helping to address the needs of children within our service area," said Susan Giuliano (Left) volunteer, grants and fundraising at Mitzvah Circle.
