Montgomery County Man Receives Probation After Child Porn Possession Guilty Plea

Jessie Aaron Necochea, 32, received probation plus time already served in jail for possessing child pornography.

UPPER DUBLIN, PA — A local man recently received a sentence of probation in exchange for his pleading guilty to possessing child pornography.

Jessie Aaron Necochea, 32, of the North Hills section of Upper Dublin Township, will be under court supervision for more than five years after Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge Wendy Rothstein recently handed down sentence in a case in which Necochea admitted to possessing child pornography for sexual gratification, according to media reports and court records.

Records show that Rothstein imposed sentence on May 3 after Necochea pleaded guilty to two separate felony counts of child porn possession.

A host of other felony and misdemeanor charges were dismissed in exchange for Necochea's guilty plea, records show.

Records further show that Necochea was given credit for time served, as he previously spent 308 days in confinement. He is still currently being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

In addition to the probation sentence, Rothstein also imposed other conditions, including that Necochea comply with Megan's Law sex offender registration requirements for a 15-year period, that he have no contact with minors, that he shall forfeit his phone and laptop computer and that he undergoes both a Sexually Violent Predator Evaluation and a psychosexual evaluation, according to court records.

The investigation into Necochea's activities began last June when authorities received a cybertip that child porn had been uploaded through an internet address linked to the defendant, and that detectives obtained a confession from Necochea when they went to interview him and he admitted to possessing the illegal material for the purposes of sexual gratification, according to a report in the Mercury newspaper.
