UPPER DUBLIN, PA — Volunteers worked over the Thanksgiving holiday to bring warm, homemade meals to Upper Dublin residents still grappling with the after-effects of last year's Hurricane Ida.

Members of the group Upper Dublin Strong packed hundreds of Thanksgiving meal kits for those in need in the community, according to a report on 6 ABC.

The group, which formed following the damaging Hurricane Ida in the fall of 2021, wanted to help Upper Dublin residents who continue to recover from the strong EF-2 tornado that was caused by Ida, and which caused extensive damage to parts of the township and neighboring communities after sweeping through Southeastern Pennsylvania.
