Upper Dublin Joins Other Area School Districts In Eliminating Mask Requirement

Upper Dublin School District officials say mask-wearing in school buildings is now optional, not required, following changes in CDC policy.

UPPER DUBLIN, PA — The Upper Dublin School District has followed suit of many other area districts in eliminating a face mask requirement for students and staff after federal health officials offered a change in guidance due to declining COVID-19 infection rates.

As of now, students, staff and visitors in Upper Dublin schools will have the option of whether or not to don face coverings as a mitigation measure against the coronavirus.

A new health and safety plan provided by the district reveals the change in policy.
