Virginia Chilberti, 91, of Plymouth Meeting, formerly of Ambler

Virginia Chilberti was a member of St. Joseph Church in Ambler and loved cooking and spending time with her family.

Virginia Chilberti, 91, of Plymouth Meeting, formerly of Ambler, passed away on July 27, 2012, surrounded by her family. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic C. Chilberti. 

Virginia was born in Ambler, PA on November 20, 1920 to the late Vincenzo and Marietta (Foderaro) Pileggi. 

She worked for ACME Supermarket in Ambler for over 30 years. 

She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Ambler and loved cooking and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her 3 daughters: Connie Charocopos (Nicholas) of Cape May, NJ, Mary Ann Chilberti and Joanne Toscano (Phil) both of Plymouth Meeting; daughter-in-law Eileen Chilberti; a sister Marion DeTuro ; brother Pasquale Pileggi; 7 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. 

She was predeceased by a son Dominic C. Chilberti, 6 sisters and 1 brother. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 16 S. Spring Garden Street, Ambler. 

Viewing will be Monday evening from 6:30-9PM and Tuesday from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Home, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler. 

Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
