Two Out Of Four Million-Dollar Lottery Tickets Recently Sold In PA Came From Philly Region

One million-dollar ticket was sold in Delaware County while the other was sold in neighboring Montgomery County. Four were sold in total.

SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — Two of the four one-million-dollar winning lottery tickets that were drawn from the Pennsylvania Lottery's New Year's Millionaire Raffle drawing this past weekend came from the Philadelphia collar counties.

One of the tickets selected was sold at the Rite Aid at 2901 Springfield Road in Broomall, Delaware County while the other was sold at the Charwash gas station located at 2595 Maryland Road in Willow Grove, Montgomery County, according to state lottery officials.

The other two one-million-dollar winning tickets were sold at establishments in Cumberland and Westmoreland Counties respectively.

Additionally, one of the four $100,000 winning tickets that were drawn during the same lottery drawing on Jan. 8 also came from Montgomery County. It was sold at the Giant Foods supermarket at 737 Huntingdon Pike in Huntington Valley.

This was the Pennsylvania Lottery's 16th year offering the New Year's Millionaire Raffle, which has created more than 124 new millionaires since it debuted back in 2005, according to state lottery officials.
