Upper Moreland Congratulates Boys Basketball Team's District Title
Upper Moreland posted a congratulatory message on its electric sign at the front of the high school.
The Upper Moreland boys varsity basketball team captured the school's first ever district title last weekend. It defeated Pope John Paul II, 57-49, Saturday night on the big stage at the University of Villanova.
The Golden Bears will advance to the state tournament where it will take on 4th-seeded Susquehanna Township High School in the District 3 bracket. The game will be played at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School at 8 p.m.
