Upper Moreland Hands Out Student of the Month Award

The Upper Moreland School District has announced that Upper Moreland High School's Matthew Dummeldinger is the Student of the Month in March.

The UMHS senior received the award from Willow Grove Rotary President, Mr. John Douglass.

Matt is in the National Honor Society, he is the Senior Class Vice President, and the Co-President of the Interact club. Matt is also involved in the Jazz Band, plays on the boys’ Tennis team and is the Editor of Bear Print, the school newspaper.

For the past six years, outside of school, he teaches Sunday School to the pre-school children at his church, in addition to being a sax instructor to the middle school students. Matt would like to major in secondary math education in the fall.
