Willow Grovians or Grovites? Which one is right?

The Old Images of Montgomery County Facebook page has asked an interesting question:

What are people in your town known as?

And, right next to the query, which was posted on May 8, the author of the post had given the example of “Willow Grovians” as the possibly preferred nomenclature for those living, of course, in Willow Grove.

As the Facebook page is dedicated to historical review and trips down nostalgia lane, the question may ask fans and visitors to recall traditional residential names. However, there were alternatives suggested to “Willow Grovians,” such as “Grovites.”
