CBS News Jim Donovan To Host Autism Cares Foundation Race4Resources 5K

News Anchor Will Serve As Master Of Ceremonies For Autism Cares Foundation Annual RACE 4 RESOURCES 5K RUN/WALK/EXPO on May 6th in Newtown

Southampton, PA - Autism Cares Foundation (ACF), a Southampton-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality programs and services to individuals and families coping with autism and other intellectual disabilities (IDD), is excited to announce that CBS News Philadelphia Anchor Jim Donovan will serve as Master of Ceremonies at its upcoming 15th annual “Race 4 Resources” 5K Run/1 Mile Family Fun Walk and Resources Expo on Saturday, May 6, 2023. The event will take place at Bucks County Community College and Tyler State Park in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Event registration is $40 until April 28th when the price increases to $45.00. Expo presenter and sponsorship opportunities are also still available.

The redesigned 5K race course eliminates the challenging hills through Tyler State Park, with the start and finish line at the college. Event gates will open at 8am with a Resources Expo providing attendees with many community resources geared to assisting those with autism and other intellectual disabilities. A 9:30am race start will kick off the 5K Race and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk Scavenger Hunt. Post race attendees will be treated to an amazing selection of food generously donated by sponsors Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill and Carrabbas’s Italian Grill.
