Fire Destroys Garage At Upper Southampton Twp. Home

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Southampton Fire Company battled a vehicle fire that spread to the garage of a township home.

The fire company responded at 8:15 p.m. Sunday to an automobile fire on the 100 block of Maple Avenue.

Shortly after, with reports that it was spreading to a garage, the fire call was upgraded to a house fire, officials said.

Fire crews found a car on fire with the fire extending to the garage, and quickly extinguished the fire and overhauled the garage.
