UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Easter Sunday is nearly here. Many Upper Southampton Township families look forward to gathering around the dinner table with their loved ones and enjoying an elaborate holiday meal of ham, potatoes, and other staples.

However, even the best chefs sometimes forget a key ingredient or two needed to make their holiday meal unforgettable. Luckily, several major grocery store chains will be open on Easter Sunday.

Patch has compiled a helpful list of stores that will be open on Easter Sunday and those that won’t.

ACME Markets: Stores will be open regular Sunday hours, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

ALDI: All stores are closed on Easter Sunday.

BJ’s Wholesale Club: Most locations will be open until 6 p.m. on Easter Sunday, though some will be open until 7 p.m. Call ahead to confirm hours.

Costco: All locations will be closed on Easter Sunday.

CVS: While many CVS Pharmacy locations, including 24-hour locations, will remain open with regular hours on Easter, some pharmacies may have reduced hours or be closed for the holiday. Call ahead or visit cvs.com to confirm local store and pharmacy hours.

GIANT: Stores will be closing at 3 p.m. on Easter Sunday. Pharmacies will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

McCaffrey's Food Markets (Simply Fresh): Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

Sam’s Club: All locations are closed on Easter Sunday.

ShopRite: ShopRite stores are independently owned and operated, so it is recommended to call ahead to your preferred store to confirm hours.

Target: Target stores will be closed on Easter Sunday.
