Person Posing As Upper Southampton Employee, Police Warn
Upper Southampton Township Police said the person is going around enforcing township ordinances.
UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Upper Southampton Township Police Department is alerting the public that someone is posing as a township employee to enforce presumed ordinance violations.
Police said the person has trespassed onto residents' properties and removed signs as well as mailed (USPS) fraudulent ordinance violation warnings to businesses operating in town.
Police said that anyone receiving a notice of violation should verify with the Township License & Inspection office at 215.355.0677.

The township does not send unsolicited representatives to homes for inspections or licensing purposes.
Anyone who receives an unexpected visit from someone claiming to be from the township should not let them in or provide any personal information.

Anyone unsure about the legitimacy of a visit or has concerns should call the Upper Southampton Township Police Department immediately at 215-357-8900.
