Santa Claus Touring Upper Southampton Twp. Saturday

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Santa Claus will be showing up in the township on Saturday.

The Southampton Fire Company will escort Santa Claus on four separate routes:

• Dasher —(Second Street Pike to Davisville Road, Between Street Road and Bristol Road)
• Prancer —(Davisville Road to 2nd Street Pike, Between Street Road and County Line Road, Willopenn Drive from Dorchester Apartments to Street Road)
• Blitzen —(Stump Road to 2nd Street Pike, Between Street Road and Bristol Road)
• Comet —(Buck Road to 2nd Street Pike, Between County Line Road and Street Road)

The fire company will travel every street and visit every house in Upper Southampton Township.

All four routes run at the same time, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday and concluding around 2-3 p.m.

The fire company will be using the Glympse app which will allow families to track Santa’s progress throughout the event.

Links for the four routes will be posted on Facebook at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

"Our goal is to make it easier to be ready when Santa comes to your street," the fire company said.

The fire company asks residents not to use the app to physically follow our trucks.

The fire company will also remain in service during the event and will respond to emergency calls.
