Star Student: Madison Excels On Honor Roll In Upper Southampton Twp.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Kathy who nominated Madison of Upper Southampton Township. Madison is her granddaughter.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

She works very hard at maintaining her grades. She has been on the honor roll all through school. She is a ninth grader and is also very into sports: Soccer for many years and field hockey for two school years. She made the varsity team as a freshman basketball and is also an avid junior drag car racer for NHRA. She's a well-rounded girl who is sweet and a good person.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

She is a hard worker in school and always tries to excel in everything she does in life.
