Woman Purposely Tried To Run Over Upper Southampton Pedestrian: PD
Upper Southampton Police have charged a 64-year-old woman following the incident on Tuesday morning.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police say a 64-year-old woman purposely drove her car into a pedestrian following a verbal altercation.
Upper Southampton Police have charged 64-year-old Linda Eckert with aggravated assault and related charges for the incident at 11:39 a.m. on Tuesday.
Police responded to the 1700 block of Street Road for the report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.

Eckert intentionally drove her vehicle at and struck the victim after a verbal altercation, police said. She then fled before police arrived, but was later located and arrested, police said.
Police did not say whether the pedestrian suffered and injuries or what the argument was about.
