Bob's Discount Furniture About To Arrive In Village Square Mall

BETHEL PARK, PA — Bob's Discount Furniture has set an Aug. 30 opening date for its new store in Village Square Mall.

The showroom will offer 46,620-square-feet of merchandise and will be the largest store the company opens this year. Like all Bob's locations, it will have a cafe stocked with complimentary gourmet coffee, ice cream, cookies and candy.

The store will employ about 30 people.

Bob’s is the nation's ninth-largest furniture chain, according to Furniture Today. The chain has 179 stores across 24 states and generate mores than $2 billion in annual sales.

Headquartered in Manchester, Connecticut, the company opened its first store in 1991.

Bob's other Pittsburgh locations are in Ross, Monroeville and North Fayette.
