In celebration of Grandparents Day, The Pie Place will host a baking class for children from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8.
Children ages 4 and up will decorate a 6-inch, two-layer fondant covered cake, complete with fondant decorations. Children can bring a grandparent along to assist in decorating the cake.
Cost is $40 and includes a cookie to munch. Classes are limited to 10 participants and require preregistration by calling The Pie Place at 412-835-4410.

The Pie Place is located at 1775 N. Highland Road, at the corner of Route 19 and North Highland Road in Norman Center II.
