Port Authority Approves Budget with No Fare Hike
A reduced fare will also be available to some riders.

For the first time in a long time, the Port Authority of Allegheny County approved a budget with no talks of fare hikes or service cuts, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
The $366.6-million spending plan for 2013-14 was OK'd on Friday.
The budget also includes a welcoming change for riders with disabilities. Starting in September, a half-fare rate will go into a effect, according to the newspaper.
Previously, the reduced rate was only offered to riders with disabilities during nonpeak hours.
