Upper St. Clair Adopts 2022 Budget

Township commissioners have approved a spending plan for next year.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA — For the 13th consecutive year, upper St. Clair has approved a budget without a tax hike.

Township commissioners have approved a 2022 budget that maintains the millage rate at 3.83 - the same level it's been since 2010. The Township's earned income tax rate, currently 0.80 percent, has not changed since 2007.

ALCOSAN is scheduled to increase its billing rate for wastewater treatment by 7 percent in 2022. The township's sewer rate multiplier will be reduced from 1.93 to 1.86.

"Upper St. Clair's staff continues to focus on new ways to provide high levels of service and programming in the most financially responsible manner," township Manager Matthew Serakowski said in a news release.
