Upper St. Clair Flea Market Returns Saturday

The annual event is held at the Upper St. Clair High School parking lot.

Approximately 80 vendors will take up 97 spaces at the Upper St. Clair High School parking lot on Saturday for the annual Upper St. Clair Community Flea Market.

The event, held every year since 1991, will run from 8 a.m. through 1:30 p.m.—rain or shine.

"But the weather forecast is calling for a dry day," says Amy Kerman, the township's older adult program coordinator who also helps to organize the flea market.

Upper St. Clair residents pay $12 per space at the market. Non-residents are charged $17 per space. Admission is free.

"And there's a wait-list," Kerman says, pointing out how popular the event has become.

Some vendors use the annual flea market as a way of clearing their own used goods, while others use the event as a fundraiser for area organizations, like Upper St. Clair's youth sports teams.

In addition to the used appliances, toys, vases and other similar items for sale at the event, a concessions stand is available to purchase food and drinks.
