PITTSBURGH, PA — An Upper St. Clair High School graduate is Allegheny County's new budget and finance director. County Executive Sara Innamorato on Wednesday named Tim Cox to the position.
Cox began his career as a budget analyst for the U.S. Department of State. Since 2014, he has held various posts in the county budget and finance department and has managed budget software implementations, oversaw bond issues and led rating agency presentations.
"I would like to thank County Executive Innamorato for trusting me to continue to be a responsible steward of taxpayer resources,” Cox said. “I would be remiss if I didn’t thank my family, friends, and our team in budget and finance. I am truly proud of everything we have accomplished thus far and am excited for what lies ahead."
