Upper St. Clair Police Seek Woman Wanted in Underwear Theft from Sears

The accused failed to appear for fingerprinting or for her magisterial hearing.

Upper St. Clair Township police issued a warrant on Tuesday for a woman accused of stealing a bathing suit and five pairs of underwear from the Sears at South Hills Village in late March, as well as providing false information to police.

The woman—Aquilla Ivori A. Ellison, 19, of Hamilton Avenue in Pittsburgh's Homewood South neighborhood—failed to appear for a preliminary hearing before district Judge Robert C. Wyda on Tuesday and also failed to appear for a prior fingerprinting session related to the theft charge, according to court documents.

Ellison gave police a fake name during questioning over the stolen items, according to court documents, but officers eventually traced her true identity and charged her with retail theft, false reports and criminal conspiracy for falsely incriminating another.
