Ann's Choice Employee Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Everyone who was in contact with the employee has been notified and is self-quarantined, the senior community announced.
WARMINSTER, PA — An employee of Ann's Choice, the senior-living community in Warminster, has tested positive for the new coronavirus.
Ann's Choice officials said they are "taking every measure necessary" to protect their community during the outbreak and that no other employees or residents have tested positive. They said they are "closely monitoring those who live and work at our community so we can take immediate action if needed."
The worker who tested positive for COVID-19 is at home and receiving appropriate treatment, the company said. Everyone who had been in close contact with the employee has been notified and told to remain in their homes for 14 days.

"Those who live and work on campus have been informed of this situation, and we are proceeding with the utmost caution," Ann's Choice said in a written statement. "The safety and well-being of those on campus is our highest priority."
In the statement, Ann's Choice officials listed other measures that are being taken to keep the community safe.

- Aggressive cleaning and disinfection throughout the community
- Social distancing standards and the temporary closure of all dining rooms, the on-site salon, the fitness center, pool and other activity areas.
- The community is closed to non-essential visitors and anyone who is granted access to campus undergoes a thorough screening.
- An in-home dining program that provides meals, snacks and beverages to every resident's doorstep.
- Telehealth medical appointments with on-site physicians are also available so residents do not have to leave their home for diagnosis or follow-up care.
