'Code Blue' Declared, Overnight Shelter Opens In Lower Bucks Co.
Bucks County issued the "Code Blue" due to cold weather. The declaration will remain into effect through Saturday morning.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A "Code Blue" declaration has been issued in Bucks County through Saturday due to a forecast of frigid temperatures.
Bucks County officials opened shelters in Lower Bucks County and in the county's upper and central areas to provide shelter from the cold weather. They will remain open until Saturday morning.
The county issues a “Code Blue” declaration when temperatures are forecast to drop below 20 degrees for two or more consecutive days.

A “Code Blue” may be called amid higher temperatures, as consideration is also given to wind chill, precipitation, and other circumstances.
