2 Police Officers Hired In Warminster

The two new police officers took their oaths at the recent Warminster Township Board of Supervisors meeting.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Two new police officers have joined the ranks of the Warminster Township Police Department.

At the Warminster Township Board of Supervisors meeting earlier this month, Police Officers Sean Metz and Taj Weems were sworn in by District Justice Christopher E. O'Neill.

Metz, a lifelong township resident, is a graduate of William Tennent High School.

He attended York College, where he was a member of the soccer team and graduated with honors, earning a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Weems, a Philadelphia resident, graduated from La Salle College High School.

He attended Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, where he was a National Army ROTC Scholarship recipient and member of the Hood College soccer team.

Weems earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology. Weems is also a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps Reserves.

Donnelly III said. “Their commitment to public safety, integrity, and community service stood out during the hiring process, and I am confident they will uphold the values and dedication our residents expect.
