Community Rallies Around Warminster Fire Victims
A family was displaced over a "devastating" house fire from strong winds in Warminster, fire officials said.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The community is rallying around a family that was displaced following a fire on Friday, officials said.
The Warminster Fire Department said it responded to multiple weather-related incidents due to "significant" on Friday.
Fire officials said one incident led to a "devastating" house fire that left a township family displaced.

The fire department did not provide details about the fire or its location.
"First and foremost, our thoughts are with Bob and Becky Campman and their family, whose home was damaged in the fire. We are grateful to share that Bob, Becky, and their children are safe, though this is an especially difficult loss during the Christmas season," the fire department said.

The Lehman Church is coordinating support for the family.
The fire department said the community should beware of several fraudulent GoFundMe campaigns that have appeared following the fire.
The fire department said the family said they are not connected to anyone who started those campaigns.
"Those wishing to support the Campman family and avoid any potential scams are encouraged to follow the guidance outlined in the church’s post," the fire department said.
The church said anyone who wants to help the family can drop off gift cards or other donations in the church office at 300 South York Road in Hatboro.
