Fitzpatrick Honors Warminster Woman For Service To Retirement Community
June Maurer's family has been working at the local Christ's Home community since she was a child; now, she is a resident herself.

WARMINSTER, PA — Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick recently honored long-time Bucks County resident June Maurer for her lifetime of dedication to the ministry Christ’s Home and its retirement community, according to a Tuesday news release.
From serving to residing, Maurer has been part of Christ’s Home — an organization founded as a non-denominational Christian ministry — for her entire life. Her family has been working at Christ’s Home since they moved to Warminster in 1907.
Her grandfather, Frederick Schwab, became the first administrator of the retirement community — the same retirement community that his granddaughter, Maurer, now resides in. Maurer has watched Christ’s Home expand over the greater part of the last century.
