Declaration Of Disaster Emergency Issued In Warminster
Warminster officials said the declaration is due to several inches of snow expected on Monday.

WARMINSTER, PA —With 2-4 inches of snow expected Monday, township officials have issued a Declaration Of Disaster Emergency.
The declaration starts at 12:01 a.m. and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday.
Township officials said that during a snow-related emergency, the following ordinances are in effect:

Ordinance No. 756 —It shall be unlawful to park, or allow to be parked, any motor vehicle on any road or street within the Township when an emergency has been declared by the township manager or his/her designee until rescinded.
Ordinance No. 702 —No person removing snow or ice from public sidewalks or private property shall throw, shovel, push, plow or otherwise move snow or ice into the public street.

Township officials are asking residents to remove any vehicles from the street prior to the start of the declaration so that plowing operations can be done as safely and efficiently as possible.
Vehicles found to be in violation and hindering plowing operations will be towed.
