Declaration Of Disaster Emergency Issued In Warminster For Snow
Warminster Township officials are warning residents about road plans before Sunday's expected snowstorm.

WARMINSTER, PA —With up to 5 inches of snow and freezing temperatures excepted in the Philadelphia region on Sunday, Warminster has issued a Declaration Of Disaster Emergency.
The emergency goes into effect at 12:01 a.m. Saturday and ends at 12:01 a.m. on Monday.
During a snow-related emergency, the following ordinances are in effect:

- Ordinance No. 756: It shall be unlawful to park, or allow to be parked, any motor vehicle on any road or street within the Township when a emergency has been declared by the Township Manager or his/her designee until rescinded. https://ecode360.com/36204752?highlight=snow...
- Ordinance No. 702: No person removing snow or ice from public sidewalks or private property shall throw, shovel, push, plow or otherwise move snow or ice into the public street. https://ecode360.com/15531011?highlight=snow...
Township officials ask that residents remove any vehicles from the street before the start of the declaration so that plowing operations can be done as safely and efficiently as possible.
Vehicles found to be in violation and hindering plowing operations will be towed.
