Dunkin' Awards Warminster Math Student With A $2,000 Scholarship

WARMINSTER, PA — Dunkin' announced Monday that Daulton Zeaman of Warminster was among the students honored with $2,000 in scholarship money in this year's Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program.

Zeaman, a mathematics major at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, was one of 25 high school seniors and college students awarded a scholarship by Dunkin' of Greater Philadelphia — out of more than 900 applicants. Zeaman is an ambassador for Pitch In For Baseball & Softball, and enjoys playing basketball in his spare time.

This is the twelfth year of Dunkin's Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program, sponsored by Dunkin' and Scholarship America. Since its inception, local franchisees have surpassed half a million dollars in scholarships provided to greater Philadelphia-area students.

The program helps high school seniors and college students in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Kent and New Castle counties in Delaware pursue a part-time or full-time undergraduate degree at the institution of their choice. Winners were selected based on their academic records, demonstrated leadership skills, and overall commitment to their schools and local communities.

“We are proud to continue the tradition to further students’ educational goals in our community as well as celebrate a major milestone this year: providing over half a million dollars to our local students since the program’s inception in 2009!” said Perry Shah, local Dunkin’ franchisee and Philadelphia regional advertising committee chairman.

The 2021 Dunkin’ Regional Scholarship recipients will be honored at an awards ceremony from 2 -4 p.m. Saturday at Cherry Street Pier in Philadelphia.
