Bucks Co. Eagles Fan Battling Leukemia Gets $8K Donation From Jason Kelce
A GoFundMe page has raised over $126,000 of its $130,000 goal to help the local resident pay his medical expenses.
WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Tom Trampe is in the fight of his life.
The Philadelphia Eagles fan from Bucks County drew media attention by offering to suit up for the team against the Seattle Seahawks in a playoff game six years ago. See the YouTube video below
Trampe, nicknamed "Chomp," though, recently had emergency brain surgery last week and is undergoing leukemia treatment in which he will remain hospitalized for several months, according to organizers of a fundraiser to help pay his medical bills.

"A few years ago, many of you may have recognized Tom Trampe from a Philadelphia Eagles hype video that went viral — "2 Years, Varsity!” That same larger-than-life spirit is exactly what’s carrying him through the fight of his life right now," said Kenneth and Kate Coffman of Warminster, who organized the fundraiser.
"Recently, Tom underwent emergency brain surgery that quite literally saved his life. Doctors shared that his odds of survival were incredibly slim, yet Tom continues to defy those odds every single day. As if that wasn’t enough, he has also been diagnosed with leukemia and now faces ongoing treatment and a long road to recovery," the organizers said.

A GoFundMe page has raised over $126,000 of its $130,000 goal, including an $8,000 donation from former Philadelphia Eagles legend and ESPN personality Jason Kelce.
"This fundraiser is to help relieve some of that financial burden so the family can focus fully on what matters most: Tom’s recovery and precious time together as a family," organizers said. "Every donation — no matter the amount — will go directly towards medical expenses, household bills, and helping keep stability for their young children during this incredibly difficult season."
The Warwick Farm Brewery will be tapping its collaboration beer, "2 Years Varsity," and donating $2 from every pint sold and $2 from every four-pack sold. We’ll also have 2 Years Varsity T-shirts available, with 100 percent of proceeds going directly to Trampe's GoFundMe fundraiser.
"Tom is not only a fighter — he is a devoted husband and an amazing father to a beautiful 1 year-old, and step father to a 8-year-old, who looks up to him. They both need him more than ever," the Coffmans said. "While the focus remains on his healing, the reality of medical bills, ongoing treatment costs, mortgage payments, and everyday family expenses can quickly become overwhelming."
