Eagles Fans Celebrate Super Bowl Victory In Lower Bucks Co.

Fans went into a frenzy as the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —They took to the streets.

Along the Five Points intersection in Levittown on Sunday night, fans went into a frenzy to celebrate Sunday's victory by the Philadelphia Eagles over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

Throughout the Philadelphia region, fans watched the franchise capture its second Super Bowl with a crushing defeat over former Coach Andy Reid and star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

As per tradition, fans headed out to the intersection as soon as the game ended, waving flags and decked out in Eagles garb to celebrate the victory. The celebration was similar to two weeks agowhen the team won the NFC Championship game.

On Friday and over the weekend, fans showed their true colors —green —for their team with pep rallies, and other events to get ready for the big game.

On Friday, students at the Carl S. Sandburg Middle School in the Neshaminy School District held a pep rally to get children fired up about the Birds. A pep rally also took place at St. Mark School in Bristol. Meanwhile, the Middle Bucks County Institute of Technology also gathered to support the Birds.
