LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A top national law firm has been retained to represent the two people killed and 20 injured in the gas explosion at a Bristol Township nursing home last week.

A nurse and a resident were killed in the blaze. A GoFundMe page has been launched to support the nurse's family.

Over 50 emergency units from Bucks and Montgomery counties helped rescue the 120 residents and staff at the nursing home.

The gas explosion is under investigation.

PECO Energy utility crews were on the site responding to reports of a strong gas odor inside the facility. Moments later, an explosion tore through part of the building, shattering windows and prompting a massive response from emergency crews.
