PHILADELPHIA, PA —Brandon Graham is gutting it out.

The Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl hero is trying to make it back for possibly the final game of his career —Super Bowl LIX.

Graham was placed on injured reserve after the game against the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 24, ending his season and his 15-year career, which he had announced in the beginning of the year that this would be his last season.

The injury usually calls for a six-month recovery. But Graham —one of the most optimistic of all Eagles —held out hope that if the Birds could get to the Super Bowl, he could come back.

This week, the Eagles opened a practice window for Graham and if all works out well, he will be making his comeback.

Graham needs to play in this game.

He's had a remarkable career after being slighted in the beginning for not producing at the highest level as a First Round draft pick in 2010.

But over the years, Graham has become an elder stateman, holding the record for most games played in franchise history and helping to lead a locker room and serve as the spokesman for the team.

He always has a smile on his face and is always very kind to the people he meets on the streets.

But what really makes Graham a Super Bowl hero is his strip sack of New England Patriots GOAT Tom Brady during that surprise Super Bowl victory in which everything clicked for the team and they got their first Super Bowl rings.

The 2017 season was remarkable in itself with the work of Quarterback Carson Wentz before he got injured and backup Nick Foles becoming an icon with the "Philly Special" and the Super Bowl victory.

Well, Graham's strip-sack sealed the deal.

So he needs to be in New Orleans. He needs to be on the field. He needs to be that good luck charm that gives this team its second Super Bowl victory.

What a way to end a season. What a way to end a career.
