House Fire Battled In Warminster

The Hartsville Fire Company fought a fire at a home on Gorson Drive Friday night.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Hartsville Fire Company fought a fire at a home on Gorson Drive Friday night.

The Hartsville Fire Company and mutual aid crews responded at 9:31 p.m. Friday to a house fire on the 900 block of Gorson Drive.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire and prevented further damage to the home.

No injuries were reported, fire officials said.

Meanwhile, the Warminster Fire Department said it answered 32 emergency calls during the recent heat wave and storms that swept through the Philadelphia region.

The dangerous storms that hit, followed by a recent heat wave, had fire crews handling 32 emergency calls, including storm-related emergencies, downed wires, fires, fire alarms, fume investigations, and carbon monoxide incidents — all while operating in extreme heat.

The Warminster Fire Department recognized PECO for their tireless work to restore power and the neighboring fire departments who assisted on calls.
