Large Blaze On Mearns Road: Police Ask Residents To Avoid Area

Multiple emergency departments responded to the scene of a fire in Warminster that was still actively burning at 5 p.m. Friday.

WARMINSTER, PA — Police are instructing Warminster residents to avoid roads around the 600 block of Mearns Road due to a large active fire.

The Warminster Township Police Department, Warminster Fire Department, and Hartsville Fire Department as well as surrounding fire departments were on the scene of the blaze Friday. It was still actively burning that evening at 5 p.m.

"Local roads surrounding this scene are closed so the fire department can work safely to extinguish this fire," police said.
