Library Blood Drive, McDonald Construction Update This Week

Roll up your sleeves for a good cause as the Warminster Library hosts a Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday between 1 and 5 p.m.

The Warminster Pioneers Cheerleading team starts the new season with cheer camp Monday between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m at Werner Field. Registration for the team will still remain available between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Centennial School District invites the public to an open meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. that will provide an update on the ongoing construction of the new McDonald Elementary. The forum will be hosted in the cafeteria at the new building.

The Centennial Operations Committee meets Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the administration building. The agenda includes awarding a bid to install new playground equipment for the kindergarten classes at McDonald and Davis elementary schools.

The week starts sunny and cool on Monday, with a high near 79, according to the National Weather Service. The rest of the week looks like another wet one, with showers and thunderstorms forecasted through Friday.
